Cruelty Free Consumer featured in the October edition of Leaping Bunny's e-newsletter

New Website for Cruelty-Free Shopping Just this month, a brand new site called Cruelty Free Consumer, which sells only products from Leaping Bunny certified companies launched. The founder of the site, Julie Kirk, created it because she wanted to find information on cruelty-free shopping that she could trust and have one place where consumers could both easily shop and find alternatives to replace brands they were using. "I believe in being responsible about the products you use and the companies you support. I truly love animals and I can't imagine the unnecessary terror they have to experience. I think it is important to make thoughtful choices and be socially conscious. It's our actions that will influence change." ~ Julie Kirk.                                    Check out the website: Now through October 31, 2011, you can save 10% off your purchase! Enter code grandopening10% at checkout! Leaping Bunny is  just shy of 400 Leaping Bunny certified companies. What does this mean for you, the shopper? It means there are more cruelty-free choices available to you than ever before!  Just last week, their marketing manager, Kim , met with over 50 companies at the Natural Products Expo in Baltimore. Many of the companies she talked with expressed their enthusiasm for the Leaping Bunny Logo and its high standard. She'll be working with many of them in the coming months to offer you exclusive discounts, contests, and promotions. The result: win-win-win, for you, the companies, and the animals who won't be subjected to cruel testing. Leaping Bunny:  Formed in 1996, the Leaping Bunny Program is administered by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics, and is comprised of: American Anti-Vivisection Society (Chair); American Humane Association; Animal Alliance of Canada; Beauty Without Cruelty, USA; Doris Day Animal League; The Humane Society of Canada; The Humane Society of the United States; MSPCA Center for Laboratory Animal Welfare; and New England Anti-Vivisection Society. Our international partner is the European Coalition to End Animal Experiments.
